Cancellation policy

This Cancellation Policy explains when and how you may cancel your participation in a game on Fyng, and under what conditions you are eligible for a refund processed automatically by Fyng.

You may cancel your participation in a game at any time through the Fyng app. To cancel:

1. Navigate to the game in the app or open the confirmation email if you joined from the web app.
2. Select the option to leave or withdraw your registration.
3. If you are eligible for a refund in accordance with this policy, it will be processed automatically. No further action is required.

If you are not eligible for a refund, you can still leave the game but no refund will be issued.

You are eligible for an automatic refund if both of the following conditions are met:

• You paid a registration fee through Fyng at the time of joining the game.
• More than 24 hours remain until the game starts at the time you submit your cancellation.

If either condition is not met — for example, if no registration fee was charged, or if you cancel within 24 hours of the game — you are not eligible for a refund.

Eligible refunds are processed automatically by Fyng through our payment provider, Mollie. You do not need to contact the organizer or take any additional steps to receive your refund.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of registration. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Organizers are responsible for cancelling their game promptly through the app if the game will not take place. When an organizer cancels a game, all participants who paid a registration fee will automatically receive a full refund.

Organizers are not responsible for processing individual refunds — this is handled automatically by Fyng.

If an organizer cancels the game entirely, all registered participants who paid a registration fee will automatically receive a full refund, regardless of when the cancellation occurs. Refunds are processed within 72 hours of the cancellation.

We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy. We will attempt to notify users of material changes via the app or email.
